Research Assistant

Julian Darts is an NYU Pre-Med Junior studying psychology. He is volunteering with the SCAN Lab’s HBCD team. His current interests in medicine are in psychiatry, pediatrics, and emergency medicine. His background is in working as a 911 EMT, emergency scribe, and EMT in a children’s summer camp clinic. He is interested in how the infant brain develops and how we can manipulate the environment to promote better mental health. He wants to learn more about MRI, fMRI, and EEG, and join a lab that uses these tools to help better the community. In his spare time he enjoys riding his unicycle, bicycle, and electric scooter, and playing pingpong and Mario Party with his friends.
