Shayla Ward

I am a junior majoring in psychology with a minor in CAMS. I am from San Francisco, California. Last summer I worked as an 8th grade teacher, which led to my passion for working with kids. In addition, this past summer I got the chance to work with NYU Professor Dr. Catia Teixeira studying the early effects of SSRIs and maternal separation with mice. I am passionate in learning how early environments affect children leading into adulthood.
